Hong Kong Railway Museum
It must be tiring enough to travel up the hill that got them here the first place, but look at the joy he has when he looks at his child. The father was hauling two huge bags and still completely engaged with his child. He shows him to all the trains and lets go of his hand periodically, and the child would waddle across the railway towards the father. It is so difficult for many parents to watch their children from the sideline, unable to take full control of his...
Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong
In the streets of Sham Shui Po, you'll see some of the oldest buildings in Hong Kong. It is also famous for its flea market and street vendors. You may not find the trendiest clothes and newest gears. Rather, you would find parts, Pro audio and visual gears, LED lights, and even used electronics, power tools, and other "nerdy" and "geeky" parts and gadgets. You can find all sorts of people here, and the dragon centre nearby definitely brings a nice modern touch to this area. I travel with the...
Traveling to Mongkok, Hong Kong

I got the early bird all day admission + ride passes for $45 along with all my friends going. I even sold a few that I got for $10 more when a few friends ditched. It's funny because I had two friends asked me in a very worried tone whether I was going...
Tin Hau Hong Kong
A friend of mine told me to try out a "dai pai dong" open-air food stall located in tin hau. I have always walked by that place but never really went inside. What you see is lots of garage and auto shops, with an exception of a few grocery stores and a lot of neat little restaurants. The street is definitely not crowded like that of Mongkok or Causeway Bay. That alone was an open invitation for me to slow down my walk to enjoy the authentic streets of...
