Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong
In the streets of Sham Shui Po, you’ll see some of the oldest buildings in Hong Kong. It is also famous for its flea market and street vendors. You may not find the trendiest clothes and newest gears. Rather, you would find parts, Pro audio and visual gears, LED lights, and even used electronics, power tools, and other “nerdy” and “geeky” parts and gadgets. You can find all sorts of people here, and the dragon centre nearby definitely brings a nice modern touch to this area.
I travel with the mind of checking out Photography Gears in Ap Liu Street, and of course to the Dragon Centre (Chinese: 西九龍中心) and other streets where clothes, cute stuffed animals, and cool toys are for sale there. Perfect for souvenirs.I didn’t get a photo of the camera stores but rather went right down to business into buying things and snapped some photos of the mall and a glimpse of the street scene here in Sham Shui Po, Ap Liu Street. Here are a few snaps at the Dragon Centre, which has lots of “square stores” and cool food.
